Not sure if i am in the right place to ask my question.. anyway..
My question is whether fat comes back after Liposuction or after a non surgical liposuction alternative! Should i follow proper diet and exercise for the rest of my life?
I've read here that while having liposuction fat cells are removed or destroyed, while on non surgical alternatives the fat cells are just shrinked! Is it accurate? If fat comes back where will it be gathered?

Hi Regina, This is a great question and one I get asked a lot! After liposuction the fat cells have been permanently removed and they don’t come back. A lot of non surgical options only shrink the fat cells. However, CoolSculpting destroys the cells, so like liposuction after CoolSculpting they don’t come back. Although the fat cells are permanently removed, I tell my patients that they can gain weight back in the areas treated with liposuction and CoolSculpting. It is very hard to do this and I tell them they would need to eat around three times more calories to stretch the remaining fat cells. You should follow a healthy diet and lifestyle as it will maintain your results and ensure you get the most out of your procedures.
