Best Liposuction Technique?

« Back to Previous Page

Is there such a thing as “Best Liposuction technique”? I mean i’ve been reading for liposuction for the last 3 months and i’ve found more than 10-15 techniques, that utilize ultrasounds, laser, radio frequencies etc and all this is so much confusing! How am i supposed to make the right decision?

I am 32, i want to target thighs in order to achieve this sexy thigh gap but i am not sure if i should opt for Smart Lipo, Coolsculpting, Tumescent Lipo, Tickle Lipo or something different..

Is there a technique that fits best my needs? I mean, is there a technique that is ideal for Thigh gaps?

Totally Confused

Thanks in advance

Hi Melanie,
There are a lot of choices when it comes to body sculpting. At my practice, I use both ultrasonic-assisted liposuction (UAL) and traditional tumescent lipo. I find each approach gives me results that work better in different circumstances. For example, I like UAL for more fibrous areas like the male back, or places where extra precision is needed. However, tumescent liposuction remains the gold standard of body sculpting for many surgeons. I’ve seen great results using either type of lipo. It really depends on how your body responds and how experienced your surgeon is.

Hi Melanie,
It’s true that there are many options out there for liposuction these days, and each new option claims to be better than the last. In my opinion, none of the newer methods for lipo can match the consistent results that traditional tumescent liposuction has to offer. The key to seeing great body contouring after your appointment often comes down to the skill of your surgeon rather than what type of device he or she is using. Take the time to find a great surgeon, and impressive results will follow, regardless of the specific lipo technique used.
Best wishes,

Hi Melanie,

I can understand that you might be feeling confused. Although there are a number of liposuction techniques available, the reason you may have seen such a large amount is that the same technique can be called a number of different names. The inner thigh area is a delicate area to treat but I would recommend using Vaser Liposuction in that area.

Vaser Liposuction is performed under mild sedation so it is a safe option than liposuction that requires general anesthetic. This very gentle technique for liposuction has a quick recovery, permanently removes the fat cells, and the high level of ultrasound energy causes skin tightening.

If I am treating inner thighs I will use the Vaser Liposuction for the minimally invasive technique and the superior results. Have a great day.
