Dr. Mandal Suggests A Combo of Ultherapy and Liposuction for Sagging Neck

Dr. Anita Mandal, a renowned Plastic Surgeon who lives and works at Palm Beach, revealed her recommendation in terms of a less invasive sagging neck treatment. Dr. Mandal says that Liposuction produces effective results for patient below 40. In their cases, the overlying skins are more active and they can readily contract to match the newly shaped neck contour. However, with mature patients, the results are not that effective. Skin of these patients does not contract as much (as in the cases of younger patients) due to its poor elasticity. For them, it is necessary to tighten the skin and then lift it alongside having the liposuction procedure, if proper results are to be achieved.

In case the patient in consideration doesn’t wish to have neck lift or similar other aggressive surgeries, neck liposuction together with Ultherapy can be considered a viable option.

Ultherapy helps to tighten, lift and contract the overlying loose skin at the neck region. You can have both the processes done on the same day with minimal downtime.

This non-invasive approach can produce better results, in case you are having a mild to moderate sagging skin at the neck region. There is also a need to have an excess of fat tissues below the chin area. If the patient has severe sagging at the neck region, traditional facelift or neck lift becomes a necessity for achieving the desired results. For enhanced results, it is advised that you should have a combination of both facelift surgery and Ultherapy processes performed on yourself.

However, we need to remind that before choosing a specific procedure, it is better that you should have a thorough consultation with a reputed plastic surgeon to have an idea of the best option for you.
