How to Correct Asymmetrical Breasts

by Health Blogger Mike Dune

Women with asymmetrical breasts often experience insecurities, but they are not alone. More than 99 percent of women have asymmetrical breasts, and 40 percent of those women have a one to two cup size difference between their breasts. For women with uneven breasts, there are several options to correct asymmetry.

The easiest and most affordable way to correct asymmetry is with a gel breast enhancer. This is a quick way to adjust the evenness of your bra. The issue with this option is that it’s a temporary fix and will only create the illusion of symmetrical breasts while wearing clothes. Much of the struggle with asymmetry for women is the lowered confidence when the clothes come off. For that, there are a few other solutions.

Implants

Breast implants are another method many women choose for correcting uneven breasts. This route is typically best for women who were already planning on getting implants or who don’t mind having them. To fix breast asymmetry, the surgeon will select two different sizes of implants. When executed properly, this approach to breast implants will provide the desired outcome of symmetrical breasts.

Reduction

For women who are not interested in getting implants, another option is a breast reduction. With this method, excess breast tissue is removed from one breast until it becomes even with the other. This is a great permanent solution for women who are happy with the size of their smaller breast and are uninterested in implants.

Remember, you’re not alone if you have asymmetrical breasts. But if you do want to do something about them, you can look into one of these options.
