Hydrasolve

Liposuction Techniques

Hydrasolve is a device manufactured by Andrews Technologies which delivers a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery. It is based on the TLT (Tissue Liquefaction Technology) concept initially unveiled in 2003, which targets at liquifying the fat tissue through a combination of natural saline solution and low levels of pressure and temperature. Due to its innovative technical traits, Hydrasolve has recently received FDA clearance for autologous fat transfer (the first liposuction device that receives this clearance)

How Does Hydrasolve Work?

Hydrasolve uses a specially configured metal surgical tube (cannula), with aperture edges, in order to insert a low-pressure saline stream into the targeted fat tissues using low levels of pressure and temperature. The combined application of low thermal energy is able to cut off binding proteins which hold the fat cells together, breaking them up and converting the fat tissue into liquid; this is done without cutting the fat tissue by intense pushes of the cannula, as it is the case with other methods (see the following paragraph), a fact that may result in damaging blood vessels, nerves or connective tissues. Eventually, the cell disaggregation triggered and the subsequent liquefaction of fat tissue contributes to the slimming of the treated area. The liquefied fat is removed via suction!

Compared with equivalent fat burning methods like Bodyjet (detailed article here) or Aqualipo, which aim at “cutting” tissues via water at regular temperatures, Hydrasolve targets at breaking down the bonds that hold the tissues without “cutting” them via heated water, making it possible for the fat to be taken out more effectively.

Finally, the procedure can be conducted either using local anesthesia or applying general anesthesia, in accordance with the special needs of each case or with the surgeon’s personal choice.

Benefits

The Hydrasolve device is designed to produce the following advantages:

  • Effective liquefaction of the fat tissue
  • Targeted fat removal
  • No stitches
  • No harm to surrounding tissues
  • Fewer risks in contrast to conventional, fully obtrusive cosmetic surgeries
  • Limited recovery process

Results

The results that Hydrasolve can render are mainly the burning of the excessive fat and the smooth contouring of the body areas. Now, these results are not uniform, as they are contingent on each patient’s age or on external factors (for instance, the doctor’s skill and experience). Once performed properly, Hydrasolve is expected to produce long-lasting results. However, the procedure does not eliminate all the fat cells, so, if the treated person is not willing to follow a balanced diet plan afterwards, they can once again increase in size and gain a part of the lost weight.

Areas To Be Treated

Hydrasolve can be applied on practically every body area which is troubled by localized deposits of excessive fat, like the abdominal, the arms, the hips, the thighs or the buttocks.

Hydrasolve Reviews

Unfortunately, the feedback from authentic users’ testimonials is extremely limited, and therefore, an all-around assessment of Hydrasolve is a particularly venturesome task. So, until more responses and data coming from individuals who have actually tried this method emerge, one should be aloof in terms of its effectiveness – in spite of its exceptional theoretic features.

Hydrasolve Side Effects

Hydrasolve is planned to deliver its results without inducing excessive bruising or pain, while the fact that it causing any harm to surrounding tissues, blood vessels or nerves; however, it is vital to confirm all these advantages through an adequate amount of feedback, which, for the time being, is absent. The same applies to the rapid recovery that the manufacturer as well as clinics using the appliance promise, mentioning that a patient can go back to his / her work in a few days’ time, while returning to workout activities can take place in some extra days’ time.

Hydrasolve Cost

Hydrasolve is considered as leading-edge technology which can deliver results comparable to traditional liposuction procedures without the main drawbacks associated with those methods (i.e. scarring, long recuperation time etc.). With that in mind, the estimated expenditures of around $2,000 to $3,000 for the procedure can be viewed as rational. Yet, that cost can significantly vary from one case to another, depending on factors like the area to be treated, the additional premiums for the surgeon or the anesthesiologist, the desired result etc. (Note here that a more representative price tag through Realself.com could not be found.)

Our Advice

In general, Hydrasolve appears as a quality choice for burning fat to localized body spots and areas and rendering a finer contouring. However, it can by no means viewed as a means for treating obesity; therefore, proper consultation should take place before the main procedure, in order to identify the initial problem and reach the needed solution. Nevertheless, a more serious source of concern regarding Hydrasolve comes from the fact that there are actually no genuine users’ ratings that could reinforce the method’s innovative characteristics and its alleged effectiveness. Subsequently, potential users should be attentive before proceeding to Hydrasolve, at least at this point.
