Florida Teen Fighting for Her Life after Breast Augmentation
We need to accept (though it is tough for anyone somehow connected to the cosmetic industry) that cosmetic procedures gone wrong are not a rare case! After this and this now a new shocking incident comes to light! Upon completion of a Breast Augmentation surgery (more info on breast cosmetic procedures) for the 18-year-old teen, Linda Perez, she was left in coma and now she is literally fighting for her life! Even worse, Linda has a 3-year-old baby girl and noone can say what will happen to both her and her baby!
What makes us wonder is why Linda opted for an anesthesiologist who served in prison in the past. Dr. Mario Alberto Diaz, is an anesthesiologist that served in a federal prison (on 2006) due to illegally providing 53000 doses of pain pills (according to CBS). As for the surgeon (Dr. Jacob Freinman), he is a board certified surgeon with clear record! The operation took place on Coral Gables Cosmetic Center! Linda’s father, Fernando Izquierdo commented “We are hurting for our daughter,” and added “We’re going through a terrible time. It’s very sad.” while her mother said “Hopefully, God will save her,” and added “We are grateful for all the prayers. My daughter is a very beautiful, very loving girl.
Another point we need to highlight is the cost of this procedure (saline breast implants) at Coral Gables Cosmetic Center is at $2800 while according to ASAPS the average cost of such surgery is at $3000.. this probably explains her decision to opt for the specific Cosmetic Center.
Let’s hope she will come back asap! Our prayers are with her!
PS: If the responsibles of Coral Gables Cosmetic Center would like to make a statement they can leave a comment here or drop a message at [email protected]. Besides comments by Dr. Freinman or Dr. Diaz will be published if any!

There are currently no residency programs in the United state committed exclusively to cosmetic surgery.
Doctors locating to learn cosmetic surgery primarily obtain training and experience after completing their residency training. Understanding this truth is called for to identifying the difference between “cosmetic surgery” and “plastic surgery.”.
Residency programs in skin treatment, fundamental medical procedure, obstetrics and gynecology, oral and maxillofacial procedure, plastic, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology medical therapy do not include training on every cosmetic therapy.
