Plastic Surgeon reports boost in Mommy Makeovers
A Walnut Creek Plastic Surgeon, Dr. E. Mariotti, reported a recent increase in combination procedures that target multiple body areas (such as Mommy Makeovers) in contrast to what was happening during the first post recession years!
The renowned doctor says the vast economic recession led many people to avoid multi-procedures that target several body areas like the popular Mommy Makeover! But now this trend is completely reversed. Dr. Mariotti reports: “After the recession hit, I saw a lot of patients interested in getting just one procedure done — for instance, addressing only the breasts when they also wanted a tummy tuck,” and adds “Now, patients are more willing to make a bigger upfront investment in a more extensive procedure like a Mommy Makeover. This actually saves patients money and recovery time in the long run.”
The explanation lies in the fact that a mommy makeover is a long term investment which finally saves you money. The cost for anesthesia and surgery fees for a mommy makeover is much lower than the total cost for having seperate breast surgery, tummy tuck, liposuction etc! So mommy makeover is an upfront investment that everyone should opt for if necessary to treat several areas. Another plus of mommy makeovers is the fact that the satisfaction rate of these multi-procedures is much higher than the single procedures that target only a single area! For example women that opted for mommy makeovers after pregnancy are highly satisfied because they fee like they “got their bodies back.” Not to mention that the recovery time for a Mommy Makeover is much lower than the overall recovery time that is necessary for two seperate surgeries!
Finally Dr. Mariotti claims that there are many financing options that make mommy makeovers an attractive yet financially evitable option: “Financing makes it easier for patients to make that upfront investment,” he says, “and it really is worth it in the end for women who want all the Mommy Makeover options, both in terms of cost and convenience.”
We at LipoAdvisor won’t disagree and if you consider the continuous progress in terms of recovery time and results for these combination procedures we would suggest that everyone should take into consideration these multi-procedures. On the other hand we feel noone should opt for multi-surgeries that target several body areas if all these areas don’t really need a cosmetic touch!
