Joseph Ajaka
Since establishing Cosmos Clinic in August 2008, Dr Ajaka has performed over 1,000 liposuction cases. In 2010, Dr Ajaka was one of the first cosmetic surgeons in Australia to introduce Liquid Liposuction, a minimally invasive form of liposuction that is gentle on the body, hence allowing for a quicker recovery time. Realising that no one form of technology is suitable for all bodies, Dr Ajaka then introduced Bodytite Liposuction, which uses Radio Frequency energy to remove fat cells while at the same time tightening the skin.
Off the back of this belief, Dr Ajaka has also introduced Hi Definition Vaser Liposuction to Cosmos Clinic and hosted Dr Alfred Hoyos, renowned plastic surgeon and pioneer of Vaser Hi Definition Liposuction over a three-day workshop at Cosmos Clinic in Sydney.
Ensuring he remains at the forefront of technology and receives the best training, Dr Ajaka also visited Los Angles in 2012 to attend a workshop held by renowned comsetic surgeon, Dr Matlock, specialist in Vaser Hi Definition Liposuction. While in Los Angles, Dr Ajaka also received training from Dr Mueller, plastic surgeon and inventor of the iGuide Neck Lift. Dr Ajaka is one of the few cosmetic surgeons in Australia undertaking this effective and minimally invasive form of neck lift procedure.
Dr Ajaka’s flair for liposuction has allowed him to develop his skills to perform liposuction on the whole body, including speciality areas such as the face, neck, knees, calves and ankles.
Dr Ajaka’s talent as a doctor has been acknowledged by Dr Oz when he was invited to be the only doctor outside of North America to be on the prestigious Dr Oz Sharecare panel.
