I’d been always looking after my appearance, eating healthy foods, working out regularly and avoiding sun; moreover, I had been using creams and lotions up to now, and the effect of all this care was a young and radiant face. Unfortunately, a moment comes where nothing of the above can do more that just delaying the unavoidable (by the way, I am 53); so, I went for Radiesse, which seemed a pretty remarkable solution for ironing my evident wrinkles and lines, and also add some volume to my face. The injections were almost pain-free and I noticed a big difference afterwards! My eyes are lifted and my cheeks are bulkier while some creases have been completely disappeared and others have now much smaller depth! Of course, I perfectly understand that those results are not going to be permanent, but that’s OK; I am going to have Radiesse again next year!

I am 46 years old now and if I detest something on my face, it’s those ugly smile lines that have been now well established on it. So, I opted for something more radical than than the almost useless creams I tried before. It was not an easy decision, though; one one hand, I was not hoping so much from an an injectable filler treatment, on the other, it was a bit pricey; but I didn’t want to penny-pinch on that matter, so I decided to go for it.
Unfortunately, that was not one of the smartest things I have done in my life. The first treatment delivered more pain that I had expected – and more than I could bear. Anyway, when it was over, I was left with excessive swelling and inflammation. OK, when all these faded, the smile lines had been lessened but another problem emerged: lumps. Now I must consult my doctor to see how I can get rid of them.

I had searched a lot before going for a restorative procedure, and the Radiesse injections, designed to trigger additional collagen production, seemed to be just fine for my case. I am not very old (47 years old) but I can hardly deny that my face is not as it used to be 10-15 years ago… So, the experience was truly uncomplicated, far lees painful than I had predicted; the fact that local anesthesia was made before the injections must have helped. The whole procedure was over before I could know it, and when I took a glance at the watch, I realized that it had lasted for less than 30 minutes! Moreover, swelling and redness didn’t appear and I could enjoy my new look almost immediately! Radiesse worked just perfectly for me; I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I recently turned 62 and I was looking for a touch of freshness with Radiesse. I had tried other dermal fillers before, mostly Juvederm, so I was not new to cosmetic treatments. Juvederm was my choice for nasolabial folds, and I had no serious complain about its effectiveness. So, you might wonder why did I have to switch over to something different. Well, I even now haven’t got an answer to that; maybe because I was convinced that Radiesse would give more permanent results.
So, I went for it. The procedure was uncomplicated, but after it, swelling and bruising appeared; and it was not the fact that they appeared (besides, Juvederm also had such side effects), but this was much more than I had anticipated. And that was not all; ten days later, next to my lips and nose, a heap begun to form, just above the treated area. Seriously, that was frustrating; I remember immediately calling the doctor, and we had an appointment the following day, trying to sort things out with some massage, but it wouldn’t work. After 10-15 days, that heap got better, but I am deeply disappointed and upset with all this. Either it was the doctor or the product, I will be always blaming myself for choosing Radiesse.

Had Radiesse two weeks ago for my cheeks. Big swelling emerged, and it makes me look so weird. I am very worried. When will all this settle down? I hope soon, and I want to see the results underneath that puffiness! Right now, I just hate what I see in the mirror!

My tear trough areas had begun to deepen more and more over the last years and I had to do something. I asked a friend of mine who had tested Radiesse with pretty acceptable results, and I decided to give it a chance too. But I was not so lucky. Those Radiesse injections don’t seem to have worked on my face; in fact, it is a mess now, as the operation has delivered asymmetric results: on one side, it looks bulkier, and on the other, it’s like what it used to be! I am outraged!
