Study shows 33% of Britons consider Cosmetic Surgery

Another recent study feed this doubtless turn of people to cosmetic surgery. This research takes us in Great Britain. The results are quite impressive while it highlights the intense interest of people on Cosmetic Surgery.  The study was carried out with a sample of 2000 people who were surveyed in order to investigate their intentions regarding cosmetic surgery as well as  the motive behind their intentions. It seems that the main reasons behind this strong trend are 3: to increase the possibilities to find a partner, to look like a celebrity and raise self confidence.

These 3 motives seems to be connected.. for example increasing self confidence seems to be a good solution in order to succeed in the romance field. Cosmetic Surgery Laywer Mandy Luckman of the Legal Firm Irwin Mitchell states: “Almost everyone has things they would like to change about their appearance, but only some that would seriously consider going through with cosmetic surgery. Most can understand people wanting to have surgery to help improve something they dislike about their appearance or to boost confidence.”

We need to highlight the fact that 33% of the surveyed are considering cosmetic surgery for now or for the near future. The most popular procedures are: Breast Augmentation, Nose job, Cosmetic Dentistry, Breast lift and Arm Lift.

This craze shouldn’t be taken lightly. Luckman fortunately highlights this point of view.. everyone should be careful enought to carry out his own research on both the procedure and the surgeon. We will go one step further and will say that everybody should be fully conscious of this urge to change something in one’s body or face. If being aware of this weird desire probably the desire will disappear.. or not if something is necessary to be changed.
