Top Plastic Surgeon Helps Children with Congenital Abnormalities

1Dr. Jeffrey Weinzweig, founder of Komedyplast, an organization that helps children suffering from congenital abnormalities, had a trip in Lima, Peru in order to provide his care. The Komedyplast Mission is to really relieve these children by providing high quality medical services (volunteer nurseons and surgeons do really good work), while there is also a group of entertainers that bring hope and smile to these kids!

Komedyplast was founded in 2005 in order to support developing countries like Peru and apart from treating children with congenital abnormalities it offers specialty education to local doctors/surgeons. During his recent trip, Dr. Weinzweig performed 20 (!) high level craniofacial procedures. His team consisting of 16 people including anesthesiologists and neurosurgeons worked hard to help him in order to complete his task.
Of course local patients feel nothing but gratitude for Dr. Weinzweig’s action and his commitment in relieving pain of unlucky children is an example of how a real doctor should act!
