I’ve finally decided to go for Tumescent Liposuction after several months of considering it. My operation was scheduled for the previous week, and it went just fine. Of course, there are some issues now, but the doctor said they are perfectly justified and they won’t last for that long; these include, first of all, swelling and pain. As regards the first, it isn’t that bad, but it keeps bothering me and also covers up the final outcome, which I can’t wait to see! Pain, on the other hand, is not constant, or severe, however, there are some pain attacks in particular time periods which insist on reminding me that I’ve had a lipo procedure; thankfully, the pain medication my doctor prescribed me works just fine in those crucial moments (although it makes me a bit drowsy)! Finally, there is the need for wearing a compression garment, which I habitually do.
During the next few days, I am going to begin having some calm walks in order to lighten up my physical condition. Overall, my experience from Tumescent Lipo has been completely satisfying, owing it also to the doctor who performed it. After some more days, when the swelling fades more, I hope that the changes will be more obvious!

Going for a Lipo surgery was inevitable for me as my belly had started to look looser than ever over the years. Well, it seems that this combo has worked just perfectly! The swelling has gone, I have lost over 10 pounds since August and my belly is now lacking that excess flab that used to infuriate me! Yet, I’ve still got some work to do in order to get where I want, but it all seems to be going according to plan!
Updated on February, 23, 2013: Seven months have passed now from the operation, and things are even better; I have managed to lose another 6-7 pounds and keep that weight stable! That’s like a dream! So, thank you, Tumescent Liposuction, but I believe that my hard work has also contributed to that result – perhaps more than the operation itself actually!

My problem was not the flab on my stomach nor that on the buttocks or the hips. I had a major issue with my ankles and calves, which is a real disaster when you are adequately fit and slim in every other aspect… Anyway, all those years, I ‘ve been trying to live with this defect of my body, but no matter what mind games I attempted to implement so as not to think about it, the look of my ankles and calves, and the embarrassment it produced, kept reminding me that I had to do something radical about it. And I finally took that decision, after I turned 33, to get rid of that flaw, or at least give it a chance!
So, I went for Tumescent Liposuction. I had already heard that this cosmetic procedure can deliver elaborate results, and it is also perfectly safe. All in all, and as some months have passed since I have had it, and the outcome is encouraging, although I am not exactly thrilled by it. Anyway, all I can suggest for those who are considering about performing an operation like this is to proceed to it only if they are absolutely certain that they can’t put up with their appearance as it is!
