Two brand new devices seem to offer a decent option if searching for the ideal cellulite treatment/fat reduction solution! We’ve spoken in the past about Vanquish (more information right here) before the device was first launched and it seemed to be a decent liposuction alternative! Besides Venus Legacy appear to be a hopeful option in terms of eradicating cellulite! But let’s see what the experts say!

Dr. Leslie Baumann, a cosmetic dermatologist based on Miami, claims that Venus Legacy is the very first cellulite treatment device that does work highlighting the fact that it delivers a pain-free experience!! Dr. Baumann explain how The Venus Legacy works: “The way it works is your skins made of collagen and collagen is like a rope, it’s a triple helix, when you heat collagen it shrinks and we’ve known that for long time! What this machine has done, it’s figured out a way to deliver the heat that doesn’t hurt, the one that was in the past worked but was painful.” As for the numbers of sessions one should have to see decent results it is supposed that 4-6 15-minute sessions are enough for a satisfactory outcome! Dr. Baumann also underlines the permanency of the results: “The good thing is the results are permanent because once that collagen shrinks its gets shorter,”

The second half of this combo, Vanquish, seems to be an effective liposuction alternative that provides true results! Dr. John Martin, a Plastic Reconstructive surgeon explains the basis of Vanquish action: “What it is, is radio frequency waves being sent down to the area your concerned about. That radio frequency creates a heat to kill some of the fat cells and those fat sells are then eliminated from your body”. As for the sessions required for decent results (2-6 inches), the surgeon suggests 4-5, almost one per week! Martin also claims that the process efficiently removes soft fat that would be also removed by means of traditional liposuction: “We’ve seen anything from two to six inches. Some people get great results, some okay results. It works best for people with fat you would normally remove with liposuction, which is surgical procedure,” and adds “You have to be able to have that soft fat you can pinch it. If you have that hard belly, that’s a fat that’s deep inside the belly, that’s deep inside the abdomen and that won’t work, you have to have that superficial fat, that soft fat.”

An obvious question comes in mind: What is the cost? Both Vanquish and Venus legacy cost between $400-$500 per session!
