What happens if i overeat after Coolsculpting or i Lipo
Jenny K.
After reading your review on the top 2 cold laser machines (CoolSculpting & i-lipo), I have a couple of questions. If the machine you chose as #1 (CoolSculpting) destroys the fat cells, if a person ever over indulges and eats too much, ie, during the holidays, where does the extra fat go if the belly fat cells have been destroyed with the Cool Sculpting treatments? Does it accumulate in the visceral fat around your core organs? It can’t go back to the belly fat cells because they have been destroyed and are no longer there. Please contact me. I have some concerns.

Hello Jenny and thank you for your message
Your question is pretty good!
First things first, you need to understand that Coolsculpting (find more here) utilizes cryolipolysis (which has nothing to do with lasers) while i Lipo utilizes low level laser (more info here). Coolsculpting does kill fat cells while i Lipo just shrinks them! If you overeat after treatment its obvious that you will gain fat which is going to be accumulated on other fat tissue areas (even in the visceral fat tissue). This can probably make your body look a bit unnatural/disproportionate. On the other hand the option of i Lipo just shrinks fat cells so if you gain weight later the fat will be stored back in the previously shrinked fat cells. So you just have make your decision.
If you believe that you will follow a healthy diet together with a work out program (which is what everybody should do after following such treatments) we would rather suggest Coolsculpting as the top option. Actually we wouldn’t suggest a fat removal procedure at all if you don’t intend to utilize a healthy lifestyle post op! What we should make clear is thatyou will face fat accumulation issues only if overeating for a long period! If you generally follow a healthy lifestyle, overeating for one or two days is not a big issue and it won’t cause you any problems at all!
If you need more explanations or if you have more questions we are more than happy to provide answers!
