Hi Guys! Things went quite fabulous for me, no more than a cakewalk. I am 5’2”, 37-year-old woman, weighing 108 pounds. I was cursed with dreaded cellulite for a long time now. It was then I heard about Dr Spring, who has a clinic in Marina Del Rey. I highly recommend her to everyone. Everyone there is amazing. Even that term would be an understatement. I was fully conscious throughout the procedure. I didn’t feel anything during the procedure and things got amazing afterwards. I didn’t have to take any medicine to kill pain on the same night and I was able to sleep nicely. I did have a bit of drainage, but there was nothing bloody about it, as others told me it would be. I woke up today and there was no pain at all as well. I cannot believe the fact that there was nothing at all. Staff at the clinic told me that worse is the first day and for a few weeks, there would be slight bruising and swelling. For first week, I would need to wear garmet, but I can change to spanx later on. Now, even the drainage has stopped and even I was out all day. The only medications, which I am having right now, are articas and anti-biotic. I cannot believe how easy this procedure has been. Hopefully, I would find the results to be amazing as well. I cannot stop looking at my legs to see the results. However, it is only time that will tell.
Updated on August 12 2012:It has been 8 weeks from the time I was operated and I cannot see any change. Now, I am officially starting to lose faith in this. I am having couple of SmoothShapes procedure pending in the coming 3 weeks. Has any of you guys found any change following this process?

Now, it has been close to 3 months since I was operated, and I can say that I am disappointed with the lack of results from the procedure. The worst part is that now, I can see a lot of dimples, which weren’t even there prior to the surgery. Again, I do have bruising in some of the areas. As far as SmartLipo is concerned, the only difference is in the back. However, there is no difference at all in my arms. I have been measuring them regularly for weeks now and I cannot notice any change whatsoever. What is more upsetting is that there is still the pain to worry about. Again, one of the scars have gone so dark that now, it is starting to resemble a tattoo. I will be updating the pics very soon. It will help you to find out by yourself of what has happened to me. I would strongly recommend you to not go for making such payment and bear the pain as well. At this moment, I am all frustrated. I have literally flushed 12-grand down the drain. If I would have chosen to flush that kind of money down the toilet, I could have saved the pain involved during the procedure and the healing phase. The main reason behind me being upset is that I had huge hopes from this and that I would be seeing some kind of results, if not a lot. Now, all I can do is cry about it.

I went for Cellulaze in the mid of April. I would have to tell you that the results, which I have got, are fantastic. I, like many others in the forum, have a normal weight, but I was cursed with cellulite for a long time. While you can still see some of the bumpiness here and there, there is also a noticeable skin tightening and smoothing in most parts. I also went for Laser Lipo on the inner thighs and saddlebags. And the final results have been no less than stunning. Actually, I didn’t have a lot of bruising, even though I bruise quite easily. My MD used foam pads around the area under the CG (compression garment). Apparently, this helped in lessening the bruises. In case you are looking to have this procedure performed on you, you need to set small expectations. You should not expect to have those Sport Illustrated Model figures. The results would be great, but it wouldn’t be perfect. There was a bit of more pain than what I thought there would be, but it was only when I set.

It has been 14-weeks since the procedure. I have waited for more than 3 months before letting you guys know about the experience. Now, the question, which everyone answers to over here, is “Was it worth it?” And my answer is “A Big No”. It was not even worth by a long shot. While I am sure that I have received a minor improvement to the naked eye, just looking at the mirror feels that the changes are quite minimal. I don’t think that even comparisons of before and after pics would be as good as this. Areas, which were dimpled following the procedure, are still the same. Perhaps they are a bit shallower, but I guess the cellulite has remained. On the whole, the look is not as smooth as it was shown in the before and after images of Cynosure. Not even a bit.
If I would have known these below things beforehand, I would have thought twice before going for such procedure. 3.5 months following the procedure,
- Both front and back part of my legs would be discolored significantly and quite tender.
- My legs would be having that numbness sensation in some of the areas.
