Mesotherapy is a non surgical alternative to liposuction that utilizes injection of vitamins, aminoacids and homeopathic medications into the mesoderm (middle skin layer) in order to induce fat burning processes. If you are seriously thinking of opting for mesotherapy its important to fully understand how this procedure works (more info here) and also whether it meets your requirements! In the lines below we share a few testimonials we received from real patients regarding Mesotherapy in order to give you the opportunity to understand whether Mesotherapy is the right technique for you!
A veteran doctor, and a good friend of mine, suggested that I should try Mesotherapy to deal with the gradually emerging signs of aging. The technical specs looked pretty promising and the trust I have to my friend is infinite. So, I took the decision and I haven’t regretted it. The outcome so far is beyond my expectations, my skin is now more glowing, hydrated and smoother. Even my friends and relatives have noticed the difference, which fills me with confidence. Along with some cosmetic products and ointments that my beautician recommended to apply at home, I feel rejuvenated and I am really happy for my younger look! Moreover, the cost was fairly affordable and treated my limited budget very kindly!
I believe that I am an attractive girl (well, ok, not exactly “girl”, I am a grown up woman now!) and I surely had nothing like weight problems in my life as I was lucky enough not to put on fat easily. And I guess that was one of the reasons that I kept avoiding going to the gym. However, not everything on me is perfect; my buttocks are affected by cellulite, and that was always a point that was frustrating me, but things progressively got worse as time was passing. A series of creams and ointments didn’t seem to help, either, so it was time to try something more radical. Mesotherapy stood up as a decent non-invasive method, taking my fears of a surgical operation away. I went for a total of 10 treatments, getting noticeable results from the first two of them! My skin is now smoother and has clearly less cellulite. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention that the procedure is almost painless!
I was never really bothered by my appearance as a young lady but, as I aged, things started to be a little more inconvenient for me. My hips and inner thighs had started looking more cumbersome than ever before, so I could not ignore those signs any more. Looking for ways to deal with the problem, the first option that I ruled out was liposuction, and after some more search, I turned out to try Mesotherapy.
During my consultation, I was advised to go for 8 treating sessions, which later proved to be a bit troublesome, as I had to step by the clinic every 8-10 days. Anyway, that was the smallest of my problems, because the initial treatment was not the ideal experience: the injections showed to be more distressing than they had promised me. Luckily, the following sessions were a lot more comfortable. But the most relieving of all was that Mesotherapy turned out to be effective: my hips and thighs are firmed and slimmer now, while I have lost over 10 pounds up to now!
I wrote this post to warn every man and woman to keep away from Mesotherapy! I know, this may sound a bit steep but that is the truth, or, to be more truthful, that was the truth in my case… Anyway, I chose to undergo a series of Mesotherapy sessions a year ago, on my thighs; well, its illustrious cocktail that is inserted into the middle skin layer through injections (and it is supposed to activate the fat-burning process) was a complete scam! All it gave me was a horrendous infection, which resulted in me having even to spend a night in the hospital to receive antibiotics! (the funny thing here was that recuperation time has been one of my top priorities when making my selection…) So, have Mesotherapy at least improved my skin’s appearance? You must be kidding… But truth to be told, that was a fair punishment for choosing a non FDA approved treatment!
