Bottoms Up – A new trend, born of Celebrities
It’s a new, powerful hype and noone doubts it! And it’s the child of the celebrities industry! Buttock Augmentation is mostly the baby of hot celebrities like Kim Kardashian, J Lo, Beyonce etc and the numbers are really impressive! Only in 12 months we had a 58{f4e1575822752660c3387461b06f16047197db710b64f29e8565d582c3a8cd4f} boost in Bottoms up Popularity.
Top plastic surgeon and chief of G. Washington University Hospital, Dr. Michaeld Olding claims: “Such a dramatic increase reflects two changes: One would be the conceptual shift of buttock beauty to a more full, round ‘bubble butt’ and, two, the increased number of plastic surgeons who have embraced the technique of fat transfer as a viable alternative to butt implants.”
The options to boost your butt are many: Bubble buts, Butt Implants, or fat transfer but it seems that nowadays the best option is definitely the last one! The butt implants solution is based on silicone (similar to the implants used for breast augmentation) which provides a much less natural results! Dr. Olding reports: “Patients have moved on from simply ‘bigger is better’ to ‘bigger is better, but only if it is shapelier,’ ” and adds “It does a surprisingly good job, ” he says. “The combination of removing lower back fat, via liposuction, and increasing upper-buttock fat, via transfer, results in significant contour change.”
Fat Transfer takes 2 and a half hour to noticeably transform your butt to a more rounded shape while according to Dr. Olding the final effect will appear only 12 months after the procedure! The doctor explains: “Since not all the fat survives the transfer, the immediate result will be more enhanced than the result at one year.”
Even if Buttock Augmentation is a powerful new trend it’s still not as popular as other procedures like liposuction but it seems that while celebs like Jennifer Lopez do the right choice the potential of an extended, rounder butt will attract more fans.
