Hello

My name is Antony!

I had lipo on weist and breast 3 weeks ago and while the appearance of the weist line is significantly improved i can’t say the same for my breasts. Is it something i should worry about? When will the final results appear in terms of gynecomastia treatment by means of Lipo?

I opted for Tumescent Lipo.

Thanks

Hi Antony,

Thank you for your question. The recovery time after liposuction can vary and 3 weeks post procedure is still very early. Swelling and healing takes time and is influenced by many individual factors.

If you have any concerns I would recommend you speak with your doctor. My advice to my patients is to attend all follow up appointments, wear their compression garment, maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. All procedures take time to recover and with the results of your chest around 6 to 12 weeks post operative allows time for your tissue to heal.

I hope this answer helped and all the best with your healing.

Kindest regards,
Dr Joseph Ajaka
