Breast Augmentation without surgery? Let’s consider InstaBreast
Breast Augmentation is among the most popular cosmetic procedures at the moment and the annual statistics of ASPS and ASAPS prove it every year! But is breast augmentation possible without going under the knife?
A new world seems to be revealed with the new option of InstaBreast, an injectable mixture that mainly includes saline solution. The good news is that it takes only 20 minutes after the breast injection, for the results to appear. The bad news is that this boost is quite temporary (only lasts for 24 hours). And the other bad news is that its cost is at $2500 while traditional breast augmentation costs $5000. Once again it’s seems to be all about vanity, don’t you agree?
Anyway, this trend seems to receive popularity lately. InstaBreast was developed by Dr. Michael Rower to show his patients how they would look after having breast augmentation so as for a more mature decision. Other doctors took advantage of this option and offer InstaBreast for patients that need to boost their confidence for an important event like a wedding (ok ok don’t ask us if we agree with such points of view).
Dr. Shad, a surgeon based in California, offers InstaBreast service and claims: “A lot of women have lost tissue in their breast from having children or just haven’t developed as much as they like, this is a great way for them to see what it would be like,”
Other plastic surgeons warn for possible risks. Dr. Dorner, a Dublin plastic surgeons underlines: “Using a needle in the breast could cause a hematoma, you could stretch out your skin.” and adds “You do a vacation breast and go out and be a part of society and they slowly deflate over the course of your event, there’s something that’s not kosher with that. It doesn’t really make sense to me,”
There is space for debate here but we would like to underline how crucial it is for each patient to do his homework so as to choose the best option for him/her.
