I had LipoTherme a month ago and fortunately everything went OK then. Yesterday, I got back from monthly checking and measurements, where I was informed that everything goes according to plan and that I have lost 5 inches from my waistline. Well, I have definitely noticed an improvement but there is also some amount of swelling that prevents the final result to get unfolded; at least, that swelling is much less than it was 15 days ago!
At the moment, I am on a low-fat diet plan, with plenty of fruits and lots of water. The doctor was very strict on that issue, as nutrition is a very important factor for shedding the fat away for good and also smoothen the lumps on my belly – and speed up my healing in general. Moreover, I have to wear a compression garment for 15 hours a day – luckily, not during sleep! – and perform a gentle massage on my lumps, which at least has paid off a little; I just hope that this will get even better and those lumps will go soon. On the whole, I am satisfied from LipoTherme and by the treatment I have received – and keep receiving – by the doctor and the clinic staff, but I won’t calm down totally, at least until I get to see the final results. And when that happens, I am going to start focusing on working out my arms so as to firm them and create a more “symmetrical” body figure. But, for the time being, I have to be patient!

I am happy to have already noticed a major difference on my stomach after my Lipotherme operation. OK, it’s not yet the way I have dreamed my abdominal area but my doctor assured me that it’s too early to see the final result; in fact, over a month, or even a month and a half, should pass before the swelling and lumping fades away significantly, so I need to be persistent and patient at this stage. What I am doing now is to feed on well and drink plenty of water, but I am not allowed to go the gym yet; you see, I am also experiencing some mild aching, so the doctor suggested that I should abstain from working out, at least for now.

My LipoTherme operation was painless and uncomplicated, and so was the healing time for the first few weeks and months. Almost no pain or discomfort, plus a constantly fading bruising. Unfortunately, the progress has been starting to get progressively limited for the last weeks, while the outcome isn’t exactly what I had been expecting – and not the one that I had been promised. To make matters worse, I lately noticed something that added to my concern: My stomach area (which, to be fair, is slightly slimmer now, with a part of the existing flab being shed) is not regular-shaped now, but the slimming effect has gone to the right side more than the left one! When I first discovered that, I let it go, believing that was only my imagination, but a few days ago, my husband noticed that asymmetry too, building up my frustration. I called my doctor and he was willing to check me up right the following day; at the visit, he admitted that the problem was actual, but he also stated that he had removed the exact same amount of fat from both sides during the operation, and that there was nothing to worry about, as this irregularity would vanish in the next few weeks. So, my worries were calmed for a while, but over a month passed from that visit and nothing seemed to change, apart from a minor-scale improvement. I had a new appointment with my doctor, who now told me to wait for an additional couple of months, which I reluctantly accepted. I am now in the middle of that extra “patience” period, and the improvement is hardly noticeable, as my belly remains one-sided and I am starting to lose my temper. I mean, LipoTherme was advertised as a perfectly safe and effective lipo solution, with great accuracy and detailed effects. Where are all these in my case? I don’t know if the surgeon is to blame for that development, but what I know for sure is that I shouldn’t have proceeded to it in the first place!
