While we are officialy in 2015, WhatClinic.com, a healthcare search engine, revealed their stats regarding cosmetic surgery and the conclusions are as always enlightening!

Body contouring procedures remain extremely popular. For example liposuction had a 250{f4e1575822752660c3387461b06f16047197db710b64f29e8565d582c3a8cd4f} boost comparing to the previous year being the No3 in the whole cosmetic surgery industry. At the same moment other contouring options like fat transfer or tummy tuck are still hot. Fat transfer is the 4th most popular operation while Tummy Tuck comes 7th
Other stats show that muscle implants lost some of their popularity showing a 69{f4e1575822752660c3387461b06f16047197db710b64f29e8565d582c3a8cd4f} reduction during the last 12 months while post-bariatric plastic surgery, bra-line mini lift and cheekone reduction remained static.
The director of WhatClinic.com, Emily Ross, stated that the value of cosmetic surgery is quite phenomenal but also phenomenal is it’s spread: ‘The cosmetic surgery and injectables market in the UK is expected to be worth as much as £3.6 billion in 2015. Not only is the market huge – it’s growing at a phenomenal rate.
