Who are the New Leaders for ASPS

USA’s most important Plastic Surgeons’ organization, ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) are announced and we felt we should have a short reference for them.
So the new president of ASPS will be David Song, MD, globally renowned Plastic Surgeon with expertise in reconstructive microsurgery. Dr Song mostly focuses on oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction. Dr. Song works at the University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Song. He is Cynthia Chow Professor of Surgery, Vice Chairman at the Department of Surgery, Chief at the Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Director at the Residency Training Program as well as Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education. But it’s not only that. Dr. Song was also President of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and President-Elect for ASPS. Finally he is also a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Song follows Dr. Glasgberg as President of ASPS.
Now the new president of The PSF (The Plastic Surgery Foundation) is Dr. Charles E. Butler, MD. Dr. Butler is Chairman and Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Butler is board certified in both plastic and general surgery and a renowned expert in the field of complex reconstruction and microsurgery (a very demanding field of reconstructive surgery) with almost 700 presentations and 300 publications. Dr. Butler succeeds Dr. N. Vedder as a president of The PSF.
