Fixing Double Chin with Kybella – Atlanta welcomes the new drug

Kybella, a naturally occuring molecule (in the body) is promoted as one of the best options to treat double chin. The recently FDA-approved drug seems to be an excellent solution forbreaking fat. When focusing on the double chin area, Kybella is able to drastically change the appearance of the patient and eliminate the double chin. As for the adverse reactions of Kybella, it seems that these are only mild (mild bruising and swelling)  while the whole treatment doesn’t require downtime at all! The patients receives up to 50 injections per treatment and it is possible to take up to 6 treatments for optimal results.

That is also what Dr. Benjamin Stong (of Kalos Facial Plastic Surgery, LLC, an Atlanta Plastic Surgery Center) – who is the one to introduce Kybella in Atlanta – claims. The drug is approved to be injected under the chin (submental area) so as to dissolve fat deposits in the specific area. The previous, much more invasive options of sucking (by means of chin liposuction) or cutting fat in that area don’t seem equally attractive to this in-office non invasive option! Dr. Strong states: “We are excited to offer such a breakthrough treatment to patients who want to reduce their double chin without surgery. It is our hope that Kybella will be an effective, yet convenient solution that can profoundly improve the way patients look and feel about themselves. “

We at LipoAdvisor.com need to highlight once again the danger of vanity hidding behind such options.. double chin in most of cases isn’t really a big issue and someone should really think clearly before opting for such procedures. Please take 120” to read our article on the Ethics of Aesthetics!
