The news from the field of cosmetic/plastic surgery are not always pleasant! On the contrary we have many cases where things go wrong! Sometimes really shocking news come to light and this is one such case! Marie-Helene Tokar was an unlucky victim of a pitbull attack back in 2008 which caused the loss of her nose and upper lip!

Marie had to suffer numerous procedures for 3 years when finally a really viable solution appeared! A prosthetic nose would solve most of her functional and aesthetic issues! Unfortunately this was not anymore evitable due to an unauthorized surgery carried out by surgeon Michel Alain Danino which makes implanting the prosthetic nose practically inevitable – at least this is what Tokar claims!

So now Marie sues Dr. Danino for $75000 saying he carried out an operation for “reconstruction of her lip and nasal mucosa,” which requires the signing of a specific form from the patient! Tokar claims that Danino carried out a reconstruction operation of her nose’s outer skin which wasn’t mentioned in the form she signed! The results of this operation are supposed to be permanent!

The filing states: “She has had to live, and still lives, in a condition that is very difficult and painful physically and psychologically,”

Back in 2011, Tokar sued for $1.15 million the pitbull owner but she wasn’t vindicated while the court ruled anybody with knowledge on dogs realises the danger of feeding a pitbull puppy!
